The Scottish Travel Prize
The Scottish Travel Prize is open to any person under 35 years presenting an oral paper (posters are excluded) in the fields of forensic pathology, toxicology or clinical forensic medicine at the Balkan Academy of Forensic Sciences meeting.
8th Annual Meeting 02-05 June 2011 Prishtina, Kosova
Abstract submission deadline for meeting is extended till May 1st 2011..
The Balkan Academy of Forensic Sciences (BAFS) is already in its ninth year. Meetings held in Istanbul, Serres, Costanta, Stara Zagora, Ohrid, Kavala, Durres and now in Prishtina. Each of these past meetings had attracted hundreds of colleagues around the world. We expect no less in the beautiful city of Prishtina. Unlike other organizations the BAFS is unique because it is composed of culturally related different nations.
As the academic program attests to, this Meeting is superbly organized with presentations, workshops and social events. I am sure Prishtina is a town you would want to visit. The marvelous nature and complex history is right next to your hotel. Kosovar gourmet dinner mixed with Turkish and Serbian is out of this world. One should never leave this country without tasting their local raki, while it never turns white it keeps your dynamism up.
On behalf of the BAFS we greatly appreciate our sponsor the University FAMA. We are grateful to the organizers of the meeting and thank the members of the Scientific Program. We thank the Grand Hotel staff for their hospitality.
